This new generation FlyGo training system offers a comprehensive package of essential instrument flight rules (IFR) tools and resources all in one app. With features such as a procedure simulator, HSI, RMI, VOR-ILS avionics trainer, and holding pattern secrets, this app is designed to help aviation students and pilots improve their instrument navigation understanding and accuracy.
Flying by instrument flight rules (IFR) can be challenging for student pilots, but with the IFR Pack app, students can develop and enhance their instrument navigation skills with a step-by-step learning system. This app provides interactive learning materials and simulators that allow users to practice using IFR instruments. It is a valuable educational tool for instructors to demonstrate theoretical knowledge in a practical setting.
The FlyGo Instructor feature offers an interactive learning experience that showcases the "FlyGo way" of learning. It includes exercises, animations, and explanations to facilitate understanding. Each training module, except for the Holding Trainer, includes a "Try what you learned" section that allows users to apply their knowledge by practicing with the simulator.
The app's main features are grouped into five categories:
- Automatic Direction Finder (ADF) + Radio Magnetic Indicator (RMI) Instructor
- VHF Omni Directional Range (VOR) + Instrument Landing System (ILS) Instructor
- Horizontal Situation Indicator (HSI) Instructor
- Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) Simulator
- Holding Pattern Instructor
The ADF + RMI Instructor module provides a comprehensive overview of aviation instruments and allows users to practice with four different scenarios.
The VOR + ILS Instructor module introduces the theoretical part of VOR + ILS through explanations and animations. It includes a built-in simulator with various pre-made situations for practice.
The HSI Instructor module explains the basics of the Horizontal Situation Indicator, combining the directional gyro and VOR + ILS. Users learn how the compass card rotates based on the aircraft's heading.
The IFR Simulator is a well-designed instrument procedure trainer suitable for aviation pilots at every level, from beginners to experienced avionics captains. It offers various features such as heading control, speed control, course selector, and additional aircraft instruments. It also includes simulation modes for instrument approaches, wind simulation, and more.
The Holding Pattern Instructor module is specifically designed to help IFR pilots and students understand the complex procedures of managing holdings. It provides educational insights, explanations, and visual illustrations of different hold entries.
For students, we wish you good luck in your preparation and examinations. For instructors, we hope you find our educational app helpful in assisting your students in understanding IFR flying situations. Enjoy the app and fly safe!
